The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology has unveiled the operational statistics for the electronic information manufacturing industry during the first three quarters of 2025. According to the data, the value-added of the electronic information manufacturing industry above the designated scale witnessed a 10.9% year-on-year growth in the first three quarters, surpassing the expansion rates of both the overall industrial sector and high-tech manufacturing during the corresponding period. Notably, the value-added in September alone saw an 11.3% increase compared to the same month in the previous year. Regarding the production output of key products, mobile phone production hit 1.11 billion units, marking a 4.8% year-on-year decline; smartphone production reached 881 million units, showing a 1% year-on-year uptick; microcomputer device production stood firm at 251 million units, maintaining parity with the same period last year; and integrated circuit production soared to 381.9 billion units, reflecting an 8.6% year-on-year surge.
