According to the Omdia report, AMOLED revenue is poised for growth in the third and fourth quarters of 2025, with projected quarter-on-quarter increases of 19% and 9%, respectively. Shipments during these periods are also expected to rise, by 10% and 7% sequentially. This upward trend is mainly attributed to a surge in shipments of LTPO backplane flexible AMOLED displays for smartphones and LTPS backplane displays for mobile PCs. In the latter half of 2025, AMOLED revenue is anticipated to reach US$29 billion, marking a slight dip compared to the corresponding period in 2024. Looking ahead to 2026, AMOLED revenue is forecast to climb to US$56 billion, representing a 5% year-on-year uptick, with LTPO smartphone displays set to remain a key growth catalyst.
