As technological advancements continue to unfold and market competition reaches new heights, the cost of 4K projectors has become increasingly accessible. Currently, DLP projectors, which are outfitted with TI's 0.39-inch chips, are priced around 3,500 yuan at retail outlets. Meanwhile, the prices of 3LCD 4K LED projectors have dipped below the 3,000-yuan mark. This price drop can be attributed to the maturity of the industry, particularly the localization of 0.47-inch DMD chips, which has significantly slashed the costs of key components.
In 2024, domestic sales of 4K projectors soared to 251,000 units, marking a year-on-year surge of 31.2%. By the third quarter of 2025, their sales share in the online market had climbed to 9.6%, representing a 2.5-percentage-point increase compared to the previous year. Nevertheless, 1080P projectors continue to reign supreme in the market, boasting a 56.9% market share and experiencing a notable 9.1-percentage-point year-on-year increase.
