Last week, a Reddit user shared a perplexing issue: the metal frame of their 'Cosmic Orange' iPhone 17 Pro had inexplicably taken on a pinkish hue, while the back panel retained its original vibrant color. This problem appears to be predominantly affecting models featuring the 'Stellar Orange' and 'Deep Blue' finishes. In these cases, the discoloration typically originates around the camera module and gradually spreads across the frame. The root cause may lie in flaws within the anodizing process or exposure to certain environmental conditions. Apple has not yet issued a statement regarding this matter. In the meantime, users are advised to steer clear of high-temperature and humid environments, as well as chemical cleaning agents, to prevent further damage.
