The US Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has officially verified that Apple is in the process of crafting a new iteration of the Vision Pro headset. Among the documents released by the FCC, there's a mention of an Apple head-mounted gadget bearing the model number A3416. Accompanying images clearly indicate that this device is indeed the Vision Pro. However, these documents, which primarily consist of test reports, do not divulge any further product specifics.

According to reports, Apple is working on a new version of the Vision Pro that will come equipped with an M5 chip. The design of this upcoming headset is anticipated to stay the same as its predecessor, with the sole upgrade being the transition from the M2 chip to the more powerful M5. It's projected to hit the market before the year's end, maintaining the same price point as its current model.

Despite Apple's plea for confidentiality, the pertinent documents were still made accessible to the public. Moreover, the FCC has also put out documents that could potentially relate to new versions of the MacBook Pro and iPad Pro. In addition to these developments, Apple is reportedly in the midst of creating a lighter-weight variant dubbed the 'Vision Air,' which is expected to make its debut in 2027.
