Apple is anticipated to unveil the iPad Pro, powered by the M5 chip, by the end of 2025. This launch might take place at Apple's second autumn event as a brand-new offering. Recently, a Russian YouTuber offered an early glimpse into the detailed features of this upcoming tablet.

It's reported that the 2025 iPad Pro will be geared towards professional productivity. It will feature, for the first time, the M5 chip built on TSMC's cutting-edge 3nm process. The CPU architecture has been refined to include 2 high-performance cores, 4 high-efficiency cores, and 4 medium-efficiency cores. The GPU boasts a 30% performance boost over the M4, while consuming 20% less power. Its AI computing capabilities and multitasking prowess have also been significantly enhanced, making it suitable for high-demand tasks like 8K video editing and 3D modeling.

In terms of display, the tablet continues to employ dual-layer OLED technology, which enhances contrast, color accuracy, and achieves a peak brightness of up to 1600 nits. It utilizes COF technology to minimize the bezel and maximize the screen-to-body ratio. There's also speculation that it might incorporate under-display Face ID functionality.

For the camera setup, the device sports dual 12-megapixel front cameras, positioned at the top and side, enabling seamless video calls in both landscape and portrait modes. The rear camera is a 48-megapixel primary lens, delivering photo quality that rivals the iPhone 17 Pro.

Moreover, the new iPad Pro will come pre-loaded with iPadOS 26. This operating system features an interface reminiscent of macOS, complete with new window control buttons, support for windowed operations and multitasking, improved cross-device collaboration, and compatibility with professional software such as Final Cut Pro and Procreate.

As for pricing, the starting price is expected to remain at 8,999 yuan. It will be available in 11-inch and 13-inch versions, all equipped with 16GB of RAM. This offers better value for money while still positioning the device as a premium, professional-grade tablet.
