Meituan Rolls Out Nighttime Drone Delivery in Shenzhen

On June 6, Meituan inaugurated its Hong Kong delivery route. Then, on September 29, the company took its regular drone delivery services in Hong Kong to the next level. It launched a new route to Tai Po Waterfront Park and unveiled Hong Kong's inaugural windproof and waterproof smart airport, designed to accommodate the concurrent operation of several drones. Around the same time, Meituan's drones also began offering nighttime delivery services along multiple routes in Shenzhen. This expansion allows for deliveries to be made until 8:00 PM every day in areas like Shenzhen Talent Park and Haifeng Sports Park.
