Shenzhen has unveiled the country's inaugural monthly operational and development report specifically focused on functional driverless vehicles. Throughout August, the operational scope of driverless vehicles in Shenzhen witnessed a steady expansion, with several key metrics outpacing those of other regions nationwide. Authored by the Functional Driverless Vehicle Professional Committee under the Shenzhen Intelligent Networked Transportation Association, this report marks the first-ever comprehensive assessment of the operational and developmental landscape of functional driverless vehicles. In August alone, the cumulative monthly operational distance covered by driverless vehicles in the city surpassed 230,000 kilometers. Moreover, these vehicles successfully completed over 900,000 orders for fresh produce and express deliveries, yielding an estimated commercial worth of 7.6 million yuan.
