On September 19, 2025, a number of netizens reported an issue following the upgrade of their iPhones to iOS 26. Specifically, when utilizing the built-in calculator app for financial calculations and subsequently pasting the results into social media apps, they observed that the figures were automatically rounded off. For instance, an original figure of 16569.87 was displayed as 16569.9 after pasting. In response, Apple customer service acknowledged that they had indeed received feedback from certain users regarding this matter. They clarified that the rounding phenomenon stemmed from a modification in the default settings subsequent to the system update. Presently, when copying results exceeding 'ten-thousand digits' from the calculator and transferring them to other applications, the system retains only the last decimal place. To address this temporarily, customer service offered a workaround: Users can access the history record located in the top-left corner of the calculator interface, choose the desired result for copying, and then paste it into another software to preserve the complete decimal places.
