According to insights from blogger Kang, the black variant was initially slated for inclusion in the Pro series lineup. However, for reasons that remain shrouded in mystery, Apple ultimately decided to scrap this color option.

This year's iPhone 17 Pro series boasts a revolutionary spliced design. Among the available color choices, the black variant stood out as the most visually appealing. This is attributed to the minimal color disparity between the aluminum alloy frame and the glass back, which creates a more cohesive and aesthetically pleasing look.
