On September 17, John Lee, the Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, presented a fresh policy address at the Legislative Council of the Special Administrative Region. During the address, he announced that the insurance sector has formed a specialized task force. Drawing on data from the government's "regulatory sandbox", this task force will craft insurance products tailored to the low-altitude economy, covering a wide array of application scenarios. The Insurance Authority of Hong Kong is poised to ramp up its cooperation with the industry to adequately address the insurance needs emerging from the growth of the low-altitude economy.
