DJI has officially declared that it will stage a new product launch event at 8:00 PM (Beijing Time) on September 17, where the much-anticipated DJI Mini 5 Pro drone is expected to make its debut. This particular model is projected to have a starting price of 799 euros (roughly equivalent to 6,691 Chinese yuan), while the complete set will be priced at 1,129 euros (approximately 9,454 Chinese yuan). It is anticipated that the price for the version intended for the Chinese domestic market will be in a similar range.
Weighing in at under 250 grams, the DJI Mini 5 Pro is outfitted with a 1-inch CMOS sensor. This sensor enables it to support lossless vertical shooting capabilities. Moreover, the drone is equipped with a LiDAR laser sensor, which facilitates 'night-scene-level omnidirectional active obstacle avoidance', a feature that enhances its safety and usability in low-light conditions.
In addition to these advanced features, the model offers three different sizes of filters to cater to various shooting requirements. It also comes with both standard and extended-range intelligent flight batteries. With the standard battery, the drone can achieve a flight time of 36 minutes, while the extended-range battery extends this to 52 minutes, providing users with greater flexibility and endurance during their aerial adventures.
Notably, the DJI Mini 5 Pro marks DJI's inaugural drone to incorporate OcuSync 4 Plus image transmission technology. This cutting-edge technology allows for a maximum transmission distance of up to 20 kilometers in the United States, ensuring stable and high-quality video transmission over long distances.
