As reported by Engadget, the impending release of Meta's smart glasses is no longer a well-kept secret. For more than a year, there have been persistent rumors and leaks regarding the integration of a Head-Up Display (HUD) feature into the product. Just days prior to the commencement of Meta's Connect conference, a promotional video for the upcoming glasses was purportedly leaked online. The video provides a glimpse into Meta's latest smart glasses, developed in partnership with EssilorLuxottica. It showcases two models: Ray-Ban glasses featuring a single-eye fixed HUD display, and a new Oakley sunglasses model equipped with camera capabilities. The Ray-Ban glasses boast a compact built-in display that can show map previews, chat messages from friends, and contextual information related to what the user is viewing. Additionally, they come with a specialized wristband that enables users to type and respond to messages in chat apps through intuitive finger swipes, following the English expression habit of concise and clear description.
