Goertek Inc. has made a public announcement stating that its majority-controlled subsidiary, Goertek Optics, intends to fully acquire (i.e., 100% equity) Sunny Optical Micro-Nano Optics (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., as well as Sunny Optical Micro-Nano Optoelectronic Information Technology (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. This strategic move will be executed through an issuance of an additional registered capital amounting to 530 million RMB. Following the completion of the share exchange, Goertek Inc.'s ownership stake in Goertek Optics will see a reduction to 37.7707%. Nevertheless, Goertek Inc. will continue to hold the position of the largest shareholder.
