On September 10, 2025, at Apple's autumn new product launch event, the initial batch of Geekbench benchmark results for the A19 Pro chip—included in the iPhone 17 series—was unveiled. The figures showed that the A19 Pro chip attained a single-core score of 3895 and a multi-core score of 9746. This marks a 13% enhancement in single-core performance and a 14% boost in multi-core performance when compared to its forerunner, the A18 Pro. Its performance is nearly on par with that of the M4 MacBook Pro chip. In the competitive arena of x86 CPUs for gaming PCs, while the performance gains of the A19 Pro are notable, its real-world performance still lags behind that of desktop-grade processors. This is because mobile devices are constrained by limitations in thermal management and power consumption design.
