Following Apple's event on September 10, the pricing details for the iPhone 17 series in the Mainland China edition were unveiled. The iPhone 17 kicks off at a starting price of 5,999 yuan for the 256GB model. The iPhone Air is priced from 7,999 yuan, while the iPhone 17 Pro commences at 8,999 yuan. The iPhone 17 Pro Max, on the other hand, starts at 9,999 yuan, with the top-tier 2TB model of the iPhone 17 Pro Max soaring to a staggering 17,999 yuan. Notably, there are discernible price discrepancies among the different regional editions.
The Hong Kong edition of the iPhone 17 has a starting price of around 6,287 yuan, which is 288 yuan more expensive than its Mainland China counterpart with the same configuration. Nevertheless, for the majority of high-capacity variants, the Hong Kong edition proves to be more cost-effective. In stark contrast, the Taiwan edition of the iPhone 17 series emerges as the priciest among the three regions. Even the entry-level 256GB model of the iPhone 17 in the Taiwan edition commands a price that is 1,039 yuan higher than that in the Mainland China edition.
