On September 10, 2025 (Beijing Time), as per a report from the tech-focused website AppleInsider, the research arm Evercore ISI of the U.S.-based investment bank Evercore issued a research report. The report posits that Apple's newly launched iPhone Air has the potential to act as a catalyst, prompting users to upgrade their existing devices. Drawing on this outlook, Evercore ISI has modestly adjusted Apple's target stock price upwards, from $250 to $260.
Nevertheless, the institute also strikes a note of caution, highlighting that this assessment is not without risks, as gleaned from historical precedents. Analysts are of the view that the notable design alterations in the iPhone 17 series, especially those in the iPhone Air, are anticipated to breathe new life into market demand. The iPhone Air, priced at $999, stands out with its lighter and thinner build, thereby establishing a distinct competitive edge against the iPhone 17 Pro, which has a starting price of $1,099.
