Apple's freshly launched iPhone 17 series marks a substantial leap forward in charging technology. It fully embraces the Qi2.2 wireless charging standard and offers wired fast charging capabilities of up to 60W.

When the iPhone 17 and Pro models are paired with a USB-C cable and an adapter rated at 40W or higher, they can swiftly reach a 50% charge in just 20 minutes. The Pro models come equipped with a cutting-edge 7.5W reverse charging feature. In real-world tests, charging an Apple Watch Ultra for 30 minutes using this function can achieve a 45% charge.

Simultaneously, Apple has rolled out a 40W dynamic power adapter. This adapter is capable of delivering up to 60W of output and leverages dynamic power adjustment technology to enhance charging efficiency.

This series also makes its debut with silicon-carbon anode battery technology. When combined with the adaptive power management mode in iOS 26, it not only extends battery life but also refines the overall charging experience.
