At 1 a.m. today, Apple's autumn 2025 new product launch event officially got underway, unveiling four fresh models in the iPhone 17 lineup: the iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Pro, iPhone 17 Pro Max, and the brand-new iPhone 17 Air. When it comes to storage capacity, every model in the iPhone 17 series kicks off with a minimum of 256GB, doing away with the 128GB option. Notably, the iPhone 17 Pro Max marks the first time a 2TB storage choice is available. The iPhone 17 Air stands out as the thinnest iPhone ever, measuring a mere 5.6 millimeters in thickness. It features a titanium frame and an ultra-durable ceramic back, and tips the scales at just 165 grams. Under the hood, it's powered by the A19 Pro chip, and it comes equipped with a 48-megapixel main camera and a 12-megapixel telephoto lens. The iPhone 17 sports a 6.3-inch display and is driven by the A19 chip. It has a rear 48-megapixel main camera and a 12-megapixel telephoto lens. Additionally, it features an 18-megapixel square large-sensor front camera that supports four different aspect ratios for photos and allows for simultaneous recording with both the front and rear cameras. The iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max showcase a new horizontal large-matrix camera design. These models are also powered by the A19 Pro chip and boast a 48-megapixel triple-camera system that offers 8x optical zoom and 40x digital zoom capabilities. All models will be open for pre-order starting from September 12 and will officially hit the shelves on September 19.
