What’s your perfect size?

When it comes to the Samsung Galaxy S25 family, there are four distinct offerings. The Ultra is a more powerful and premium model, with a few extra features, while the Galaxy S25 and S25 Plus devices are fun and sleek in their own right. Then there’s the Galaxy S25 Edge, for those who want their phones to be as powerful as the rest of the range, but as superthin and light as possible.

When it comes to design and build, your choice between them comes down to the overall size. The Samsung Galaxy S25 features a 6.2-inch display, so is the most pocketable in the lineup.

If you want a similar feel, look and specs but with a larger screen, you can opt for the Samsung Galaxy S25 Plus – it ups the display size to 6.7 inches. As does the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge, although its slimmer profile (with a thickness of just 5.8mm) means it is lighter and more luxurious in feel, partly thanks to its titanium case.

The most sturdy and premium of the range is the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra, which is also housed in titanium and comes with the largest display. Its 6.9-inch screen with superthin bezels ensures you can work and play on a mighty display without it feeling oversized. The Ultra also comes with an S Pen, making it the best option for drawing, taking notes and adapting photos using Samsung's powerful AI tools.

Getting down to the details

Whichever Samsung Galaxy S25 phone from the range you choose, each comes with powerful processing. All models sport a custom Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy CPU and 12GB of RAM, which provides supersmooth operation, whether that be for gaming, working, or browsing.

Storage options differ, however. There are 256GB and 512GB models available for each phone, while the S25 base model is also available in a smaller 128GB and the S25 Ultra has an exclusive giant 1TB variant.

Where things get even more interesting is in the camera department. While all models have a 12MP front-facing camera, the rear arrays vary. The S25 and S25 Plus feature a triple-lens rear camera unit, made up of a 50MP main camera, a 12MP ultra-wide, and a 10MP telephoto.

The S25 Ultra takes mobile photography to the next level with an even more cutting-edge camera system – featuring a 200MP main sensor for enhanced details, 50MP ultra-wide lens for expansive shots, and dual telephoto lenses (50MP and 10MP) that deliver impressive zoom versatility and clarity.

Finally, the Edge offers a more select but premium set up, with a two-camera setup, including a 200MP main and 12MP ultra-wide.

Galaxy AI for all

The Samsung Galaxy S25 family of phones offer a whole suite of amazing Galaxy AI* features. However, it’s the S25 Ultra that has the widest range of capabilities.

You can enjoy headline AI tools across all of the handsets, including AI-powered nighttime photography for extra sparkle and less picture noise. There’s also the ability to translate languages in real time, and adapt or even create images from scratch using Samsung's Generative Edit** features.

The entire range also uses AI to extend battery life through intelligent optimisation and learning your usage patterns.

However, the Galaxy S25 Ultra adds to the fun thanks to the inclusion of the S Pen. This gives you more precise control with the Generative Edit** tool, while also working in tandem with Galaxy AI's Note Assist***, which will transcribe your handwritten notes for you.

Making your mind up

Essentially, all Samsung Galaxy S25 models are supremely powerful devices that are packed with features, so it really depends on what you plan to do with yours and how much you have to spend.

The Samsung Galaxy S25 is the smallest and most pocketable, while the S25 Plus gives you a bigger screen to play with. Both come in fun colour options and are sleek with their rounded corners. You can find them available now priced from £959.

The Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge is a tad more expensive, starting at £1,199, but is an entirely new form factor for smartphones, with its superslim build and luxury feel. It’s an extremely pretty phone, yet also sturdy thanks to the titanium casing.

And finally, the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra offers the widest range of capabilities, largest display and an S Pen for on-screen interactions. It’s also built using titanium and has the most business-like appeal. It starts at £1,549.
