Windows 10 will conclude its support lifecycle on October 14, 2025, marking the end of new feature releases, security updates, bug fixes, and technical support. Recognizing the needs of users who prefer not to upgrade but still require system security, Microsoft has launched the Extended Security Updates (ESU) program. This program enables users to continue receiving critical security updates by enrolling in the service. To extend their support period until October 13, 2026, users must sync their device settings to the cloud, redeem Microsoft Rewards points, or pay a fee. Notably, enrollment in the ESU program now mandates the integration of a Microsoft Account, even for those who opt to pay.
