The World Robot Conference 2025 took place at the Beijing E-Town International Exhibition Center from August 8 to 12. During the event, Wang Xingxing, the visionary behind Unitree Robotics, delivered a keynote address and participated in an interview. Addressing the notable reduction in the starting price of the R1 robot to 39,900 yuan, a marked drop from that of the G1, Wang Xingxing elucidated that the pricing strategy is tailored to each model. Smaller robots are priced more competitively, while larger ones command a slightly higher price. This tiered pricing approach within each product series aims to offer a broader range of affordable options, attracting a larger customer base and broadening the spectrum of potential applications.
