On August 8, Douyin E-commerce unveiled the establishment of its Safety & Trust Center and issued its inaugural governance announcement, targeting violations in live streaming blind box marketing with a stern crackdown. The announcement highlighted that since 2025, Douyin E-commerce has terminated over 4,000 live streams due to infringements and imposed bans on more than 1,000 influencer accounts. The platform reaffirmed its commitment to safeguarding consumer rights and interests, maintaining a zero-tolerance stance against illegal and irregular practices that disrupt market order.
