On August 8, the Henan Provincial Natural Resources Department, in conjunction with the Meteorological Bureau, issued a yellow alert for potential geological and meteorological hazards. According to the forecast, from 8:00 to 20:00, the regions of Zhengzhou, Luoyang, Pingdingshan, Xuchang, Sanmenxia, and Nanyang, along with 21 of their subordinate counties, cities, and districts, face an elevated risk of geological disasters.
