The Brazilian government is reportedly contemplating the allocation of approximately 30 billion reais (around $5.54 billion) from the National Development Bank (BNDES) funds to support local businesses that have been adversely affected by the steep tariffs imposed by the United States on Brazilian goods. As a countermeasure to the 50% tariff measures enacted by the US, Brazil intends to implement relief initiatives, with the relevant plan anticipated to be announced early next week.
