On August 6, the national agricultural product wholesale price index experienced a slight uptick, primarily driven by a 1.7% increase in pork prices. Additionally, beef and mutton prices also saw modest gains. However, there was a decline in the prices of eggs and dressed chickens. Within the vegetable and fruit sectors, the average prices of 28 types of vegetables rose by 0.9%, while those of 6 kinds of fruits increased by 1.3%. In the aquatic products market, carp and silver carp prices climbed, whereas crucian carp and large ribbonfish prices dropped.
