Following a thorough analysis conducted jointly with the Geological Disaster Technical Guidance Center, the Ministry of Natural Resources has forecasted a heightened risk of geological disasters in the central and northern regions of Guangdong over the next three days. In response, the Ministry has escalated the defense response to Level III and dispatched a working group to Guangdong for on-site guidance. It is imperative to intensify patrols, inspections, monitoring, early warning systems, and round-the-clock vigilance to mitigate the risk of geological disasters during periods of heavy rainfall.
