October 14, 2025, stands as a pivotal moment for Microsoft users, as it marks the end of support for Windows 10 and several of its editions (encompassing 2015 LTSC, Enterprise, Education, and IoT Enterprise 22H2). Simultaneously, Microsoft has announced that support for Visual Studio 2015 will terminate on this same date. Visual Studio, Microsoft's flagship Integrated Development Environment (IDE), has been a cornerstone for developers since its launch in 2015. While mainstream support for the 2015 version concluded in 2020, extended support will officially come to a close on the aforementioned date.
