Industry insiders anticipate that the centralized procurement of biologics will likely commence around 2026. In response, relevant enterprises are actively taking measures such as commercializing innovative drugs, exporting biosimilars, and refining production processes to minimize costs. Additionally, the National Healthcare Security Administration has refined the centralized procurement rules, aiming to curb excessively low bids and encourage rational competition among enterprises. Previously, the price reduction of adalimumab biosimilars spurred rapid market expansion, and it is anticipated that centralized procurement will further propel their development.
