This May, the Xinzhen Police Substation of the Minhang Public Security Bureau received a report from Didi Chuxing, alleging that third-party plugins had been utilized in the black market to enable ride-sharing drivers to swiftly secure orders, thereby undermining the fairness and transaction order of the platform. Recently, acting on leads provided by Didi, the Minhang police in Shanghai apprehended a suspect responsible for developing these order-hijacking plugins and confiscated five such plugins, with a total value exceeding RMB 2 million. Currently, the suspect, Li, has been formally arrested by the procuratorial authorities on charges of disrupting computer information systems.
