Zhongke Aerospace has successfully completed the half-system test of its independently developed Liqing-2 engine, a 110-ton liquid oxygen and kerosene powerhouse. Notably, the engine met all key performance indicators on its maiden attempt. This test rigorously validated the functional efficiency and system integration of core components, including the turbopump, gas generator, and ignition system. The Liqing-2 engine is destined for the first stage of the reusable Lijian series rockets, where it will showcase its thrust modulation and multiple restart capabilities. A full-scale engine test is imminent, poised to inject fresh momentum into China's burgeoning aerospace sector.
