On August 4, CAS Space Aerospace triumphantly announced the successful completion of the semi-system test for its independently developed 110-ton liquid oxygen kerosene engine, Liqing-2. All core indicators met the required standards during the test, which encompassed various crucial components such as the turbopump and gas generator. The company further stated that the full-system test will take place at their Liquid Propulsion System Test Center by the end of this month. The Liqing-2 engine is designated as the first-stage engine for the reusable rockets in the Lijian series.
