The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, in collaboration with seven other ministries, has jointly unveiled the "Implementation Plan for the Digital Transformation of the Machinery Industry." This ambitious plan outlines clear objectives: by 2027, it is envisioned that 50% of enterprises will attain a smart manufacturing maturity level of 2 or higher, with the aim of establishing no fewer than 200 exemplary smart factories. This initiative will propel the digitalization and intelligent advancement of machinery enterprises across various facets, including R&D design, production manufacturing, and supply chain management. Furthermore, it seeks to nurture a multitude of system solution providers, fostering the development of at least 200 superior scenario-based solutions. By 2030, it is anticipated that enterprises above a certain scale will have essentially completed a comprehensive digital transformation, with key enterprises achieving seamless interconnection and data sharing across the industrial chain. The proportion of enterprises with a smart manufacturing maturity level of 2 or higher is projected to reach 60%, and the number of outstanding smart factories will exceed 500, culminating in a secure and manageable product and service supply system that significantly elevates the overall digitalization and intelligence of the entire industry.
