On August 1, Renault made an announcement that it would acquire the remaining 51% stake in the joint venture plant with Nissan located in Chennai, India, thus becoming the sole proprietor of the facility. To spearhead this new chapter of growth, Renault has appointed Stéphane Deblaise as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for India, with his appointment set to commence on September 1, 2025.
