The State Administration for Market Regulation has announced that, effective August 1, 2025, the pilot program for entrusting anti-monopoly reviews of operator concentration in select provinces and cities will transition to a formal entrustment. This initiative encompasses the market regulation departments of Beijing, Shanghai, Guangdong, Chongqing, Shaanxi, and four other regions. The objective of this move is to enhance review efficiency and further bolster the enforcement of competition policies.
