On July 21, various departments in Zhejiang Province collaboratively announced the "Three-Year Action Plan for Deepening 5G Development in Zhejiang Province (2025-2027)." This ambitious plan endeavors to establish a 5G development paradigm that is "universally capable, widely applicable, and beneficial to all through innovative enabling technologies." Key milestones outlined in the plan include the construction of over 300,000 5G base stations by 2027, achieving a density of more than 45 base stations per 10,000 people, and establishing over 1,000 5G-enabled factories. The plan encompasses 20 pivotal tasks spanning three core areas: 5G network infrastructure enhancement, 5G fundamental industry advancement, and promotion of 5G converged applications, aiming to catalyze the extensive adoption and advancement of 5G technology.
