Commencing on July 5, Meituan and Taobao Flash Sales embarked on the "Crazy Saturday" promotional campaign, fiercely vying for customer orders through the distribution of "free delivery" coupons and cashback red envelopes. On July 12 alone, Meituan disbursed subsidies ranging from 300 to 400 million yuan, while Taobao Flash Sales exceeded the 1.2 billion yuan mark. During the preceding two weeks, Taobao Flash Sales allocated approximately 400 million yuan in daily subsidies on weekdays, whereas Meituan has remained tight-lipped about its daily subsidy figures.
