Spring Airlines has recently issued an official statement refuting online reports claiming that Flight 9C7760 on July 15th encountered a crash. The airline clarifies that these reports are unfounded. On that particular day, the flight was delayed due to air traffic control measures and eventually departed from Lanzhou for Shanghai Hongqiao at 20:50. While taxiing on the runway, the aircraft encountered a brief mechanical issue. Following standard operating procedures, the crew decided to taxi the aircraft back to the terminal and facilitate the safe disembarkation of all passengers. It is important to note that at no point did the aircraft take off or leave the ground, nor did it crash. Spring Airlines promptly arranged for a replacement aircraft, and the flight subsequently departed safely at 22:45.
