Zhang Xiaoling, a practicing lawyer based in Beijing, has revealed that despite undergoing routine physical examinations at the Beijing branch of iKang Healthcare for ten consecutive years (spanning from 2013 to 2023), no indication of cancer risk was ever detected. Nonetheless, in 2024, she was shockingly diagnosed with late-stage cancer. Zhang has since raised concerns about potential misdiagnosis and missed detection issues at iKang Healthcare, and has responded by sending a formal legal notice to the healthcare provider and reporting the matter to the National Health Commission. In response, iKang Healthcare has stated that they are currently in the process of gathering necessary materials to address this issue.
