Recently, a consumer faced challenges in securing a refund for concert tickets purchased, following the untimely death of a family member. In October 2024, the consumer had booked tickets for the Xianyang leg of the Phoenix Legend's "Auspiciousness and Good Fortune" tour concert scheduled for November 3, 2024. However, tragedy struck when his grandmother passed away on the morning of November 2. Despite providing the necessary documentation, including a death certificate, as requested by Damai.cn, the consumer was still denied a refund.

Damai.cn justified its refusal by citing that concert tickets do not fall under the "7-day no-reason return" policy and that the order confirmation page expressly states "no returns or exchanges." The consumer views this regulation as an "unfair clause" that infringes upon his legitimate rights and interests. As of the time of publication, Damai officials had yet to issue a formal response.
