The International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) has recently approved China's proposal for the international standard titled 'Supercapacitors for Power Energy Storage,' with the support of countries such as Germany, Japan, Finland, and others. This marks the establishment of the world's first international standard for supercapacitors in the realm of power energy storage. The standard aims to address the gaps in existing standards by evaluating the technical roadmap and current application landscape, offering recommendations for future planning, and fostering the standardized advancement of supercapacitors for energy storage on a global scale.
