During the first half of 2025, national immigration administration bodies recorded a total of 333 million entries and exits, marking a 15.8% increase year-on-year. This figure includes 159 million entries and exits by mainland residents, up 15.9%; 136 million by residents of Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan, up 12.2%; and 38.053 million by foreigners, with a notable 30.2% increase.
