Recently, the Beijing Municipal Public Security Bureau has revealed that two software applications, "Douyin Meeting" and "UnionPay Meeting," are fraudulent tools capable of remotely controlling mobile devices, stealing funds, and automatically erasing relevant traces. In an official response, Douyin emphatically stated that it has never developed an application named "Douyin Meeting" and urged users to remain vigilant, avoid downloading unknown software, and refrain from easily sharing screens or transferring funds.
