SpaceX Aims to Roll Out Starlink Services in Vietnam by Fourth Quarter

On July 15, Vietnamese state media disclosed that SpaceX intends to introduce Starlink satellite internet services in Vietnam during the fourth quarter of 2023. According to Vietnam's Deputy Minister of Science and Technology, upon completion of investment procedures and the establishment of a legal entity within the country, the Ministry will promptly authorize a pilot program for low-orbit satellite services, with the ultimate objective of official deployment in the fourth quarter of 2025. Currently, SpaceX is collaborating with Vietnam's Ministry of Finance to finalize the establishment of a wholly-owned subsidiary in the nation.
