Apple has recently updated its roster of obsolete and vintage products. The 2013 cylindrical Mac Pro, affectionately known as the "Trash Can," fell behind in the market due to challenges in design enhancements and was succeeded by a new model in 2019. Furthermore, several 2019 releases, such as the 13-inch MacBook Air, iMac, iPad Pro, and the 128GB variant of the iPhone 8, have also been deemed obsolete. Apple's policy stipulates that products are classified as obsolete five years after their discontinuation, although the company will continue to offer repair services until spare parts become unavailable. Additionally, multiple AirPort wireless routers have been included in the discontinued list, signaling the end of this product line.
