Li Ping, Vice Chairman of CATL, and his spouse have made a substantial contribution to Fudan University by donating 4.05 million shares of the company, valued at over 1.1 billion yuan, to the Fudan University Education Development Foundation. This generous gift is aimed at supporting the construction of the Xuemin Institute of Advanced Studies. The donation procedures were finalized on July 10. This latest donation follows another significant philanthropic gesture by Mr. and Mrs. Li Ping, who donated 1 billion yuan in April. To date, Fudan University has received multiple large donations this year, which will significantly bolster its efforts in technological innovation and discipline development, accelerating its journey towards becoming a world-class institution.
