Apple stands at the forefront of the bidding race to secure the streaming rights for broadcasting Formula One (F1) races in the United States. Bolstered by the box office triumph of the Brad Pitt-starring F1-themed film, which raked in nearly $300 million globally and is anticipated to broaden the F1 audience in the US, Apple is keen on acquiring the broadcasting rights for F1 races within the country. With an annual bid of at least $150 million, Apple is poised to commence broadcasting these races starting from 2026.
