Isabel Schnabel, a member of the Governing Council of the European Central Bank (ECB), has stated that the economic performance of the eurozone has surpassed expectations, with inflation rates holding steady at 2%. Consequently, the threshold for the ECB to implement further interest rate cuts is currently set "very high." Schnabel emphasized that inflation expectations are currently well-managed and that the current interest rate level is considered appropriate.
