Thai President Beverage Co., Ltd. has invested a substantial amount of 142 million baht to acquire a controlling 51% stake in BaWangChaJi's Thai subsidiary, Chagee, thereby becoming its majority shareholder. This strategic move brings together three prominent Thai capital giants, collectively venturing into the tea beverage market, poised to significantly alter the market dynamics. Since its debut in Thailand with the opening of its first store in December 2023, BaWangChaJi has been on an aggressive expansion path. In May 2025, the brand reinvigorated its presence in the Thai market with a novel concept, expanding its footprint with new store openings across various locations.
