A team of professors from the University of Science and Technology of China, in collaboration with multiple research institutions, has pioneered the world's swiftest three-dimensional imaging technology for the whole body of small animals, achieving subcellular resolution. For the first time, they have generated a high-definition, three-dimensional map of the neural network spanning the entire body of a mouse. This groundbreaking technology offers a novel tool for neuroscience research and the exploration of disease mechanisms. The results, which demonstrate the ability to complete imaging within 40 hours at subcellular resolution, have been published in the prestigious journal Cell.
